      An accredited university it is universally recognized.

      The first answer is in general correct however be careful if you are wanting to use your degree for professional accreditation eg nursing law teaching engineering dentistry state licensing bodies may have their own ideas about credentials earned.
      For professional accreditation eg nursing law teaching engineering dentistry state licensing bodies may have their own ideas about credentials earned outofstate good luck.
