Which masters degree would be most beneficial?

I am interested in working as a elementary and high school counselor. Then eventually I would like to work at a college/university as an advisor or program director. Which masters degree would be most beneficial for this? I have considered a masters in school counseling. Should I look more into other degrees, like educational psychology or higher education?

research by going to various schools and see what the councellors there have and also find out the programmes of the different masters to find out what excatly you will have to do and from there you will have a decison

For this kind of work but people come into these jobs with all kinds of work and go for this kind of degrees especially if they have experience in the question.
