What schools should I look into for a Masters Degree in the theatre field?

Posted by admin
abbea42s asked:

I am currently earning my BFA in Theatre Studies. I am now thinking that I would like to continue my education and earn a Masters Degree. I think I would like to work in the administrative side of the theatre, possibly as an artistic or managing director.

Two questions: 1- What type of Masters Degrees should I consider? And 2- What schools offer the very best programs?

Thank you so much!

Juilliard is the best if you get in. Consider SUNY Purchase - it has a great program and is close enough to NYC so you can see bunches of plays.
