What makes a University education better than one from community college?

I’m trying to decide where to go to college, and i’ve been accepted to state universities, but am temped to go to community college because of the large price of a state university. I would transfer to a University in a couple of years.

What exactly is the difference between education from community college as opposed to a state university? Is it any better at a University, considering that it’s twice the price? Will it effect my ability to get a job after college at all?
