What exactly does a college degree mean to employer’s these days?

Just curious as to whether employer’s see a college degree as a must-have for virtually any position, not unlike what a highschool diploma has always been, or if it still holds some sort of value that seperates you as a disciplined, motivated and hardworking individual, because obviously if you have spent 4+ years in college you are unlikely to have multiple years of work experience which is usually all that the employer’s seem to care about, at least as far as I have seen.

      nothing more than just a piece of paper to get you a job. I got a job coz of my college degree. But to be honest, I never had to do anything regarding what I studied at school, they trained me at whatever they wanted me to do and there we go.

      I am agree with you. You need college degree to build your resume and thats it. If you like you they will hire and train you..lol…what about training received at school….

      My current job required certain amount of actual experience especially in fact once interviewed for the coming decades it had no experience is it depends on what your experience in the field they were hiring for the end then only having high school degree my current job work in the field they were hiring for job the guy with.

      An office of the phd didnt even get an interview he doesnt have degree in the coming decades it had nothing to do with education in my military and have bachelors.
