I was wondering if there is a more credible college here in Michigan that may be recognized if I search for a job outside of the state or if I were to move further up north. I realized that most of my professors with degrees and CPA certifications have gone to the University of Michigan. Would I be seen as a more credible candidate if I went to U of M instead of Baker? Would it look bad to get my degrees (Associate and Bachelor) from two different colleges? I would appreciate professional answers.

After I get out of the navy or air force, depending on where I end up, I will be going straight to college to be a forensic scientist. Like Abby in the TV show NCIS who processes all of the criminal evidence in the lab.
