If you put off completing your college degree, how long will your general ed courses last?

I’m getting into a nursing program so I don’t need to complete my bachelore’s.

I plan on finishing my degree eventually, but I’m wondering if in the future institutions will say that I need to do the (boring/useless) ge courses all over again.

I have more than 80 credits, being at a private college for 2 years, and then being at a city college for a year.
