		<description>FYI, early childhood majors don't usually earn as much money as other majors (elementary, secondary, etc.).  

In my area, teachers with Master's degrees generally make about $1,500 to $2,500 more per year on average.  However, most districts also have an increased pay scale for additional graduate credits that have not yet accrued to a degree.  (Like if you have taken 3 grad school classes, you would get paid a little bit more.  Obviously not as much as a full Master's!)
