Does my masters degree have to be in the same field as my bachelors?

Posted by admin
Eri asked:

If I’m majoring in Political Science, does my masters degree have to be in Political Science, or can it be in something else? I want to get my masters in Journalism, but do I need to get a bachelors degree in Journalism first? Or does it not matter, since they’re both a B.A.?

Thanks, everyone!

You can get your Masters in a different field. It depends on the particular school and program and what they require. All schools are not alike.
