		<description>You have to have your masters to become a principal unless you have a LOT of other work experience and can pass some tests.  But even then, you probably need your masters in your other field.  Usually people major in educational leadership in order to become a principal.  
Even though it COULD be acceptable to have other work experience, I haven't heard of any schools that have EVER hired someone without the masters.  I'm guessing that it wouldn't ever happen unless out of desperation when no other applicants are available.
