If so what online college degree program did you go for? Was it a associates degree or bachelors? If you than went on to a good college or university where did you go?

Lito asked:

My daughter is going to college next year and she is still undecided on what degree course to take.

In as far as your observations, experiences and statistics are concerned, what would be the best degree course to take and what would be the names of the better schools in the Philippines to enroll into and pursue it.

After college degree, will I start at E3 if choosing to enlist in Navy Reserve?

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009
pa4vt asked:

I know that’s the case for the active route. Recruiter mentioned some people can start higher than O1 on the officer side depending on professional work experience as civilian and if it’s relevant enough to the Navy work. I’m just wondering if same can go for enlisted side? I’m also wondering what it takes to start at E5 or higher in USNR for someone like me with a college degree? I already did my homework on officer side. Just trying to understand enlisted side.

What is the point of a college degree for airline job?

Monday, January 19th, 2009
Been there Done that asked:

Should i even bother getting a college degree if im going to pursue a job as a airline pilot? I can’t see myself doing anything else, so i have no idea what to major in. Why do airlines care if you have a college education or not? Lets say I went to a job interview with Delta, and had 2000 Hours TT, with a 4 yr degree. Another guy has 5000 hours TT with no degree. Will that guarantee me the job 100% because of that college degree?

How important is a college degree in the film industry?

Friday, January 16th, 2009
emily asked:

hey,

my friend is interested in making films. she’s currently enrolled in a 4-year art school in vancouver (emily carr), where she will receive a bachelor’s degree in media studies. however, she really loves living in seattle and is considering coming to seattle and attending seattle central community college to get an associates degree in film & video communications.

i know that in general a bachelor’s degree is more appealing to employers than an associates, but is there any reason to believe that this concept holds true in the film industry?
