What is a useful college degree to have to work in italy?

Monday, December 29th, 2008
DirtySanchez asked:

I’m about to go to college and i’m planning on working in italy in a few years and I would like to know what kind of degree would be good for finding work in italy. I’ve visited italy and loved it. I’m also becoming fairly fluent in italian.
Keep in mind I don’t want to strive for anything too academically challenging. Just something useful.

Thanks.

Cynthia

What college degree would be best for me?

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008
Derrick P asked:

I’m 20 yrs old and like many people, I’m not sure what I want to do with my life. I’ve got some college but haven’t selected a major yet. I’m thinking about going into a Computer Tech degree or Criminal Justice or Law. I just don’t know what would pay off more.

Is it illegal to falsify a college degree to a private employer in the state of California?

Saturday, December 20th, 2008
greensox24 asked:

I have a fellow employee who says they received their degree in criminal justice from Concordia College. I have confirmed with them that this was not the legit Concordia at Moorehead. Is this illegal? Concordia College appears to be a diploma mill.

fslcaptain737 asked:

I’m planning on enlisting in the Naval Reserve for 4 years while I attend college, and then, with my degree, attending OCS and becoming an officer. Does my degree have to be in Computer Science, Engineering, etc or can it be what I want? Thanks. Oh, as as for what I do want, I’m looking at Doubling with Classics and Chemistry.

If you put off completing your college degree, how long will your general ed courses last?

Thursday, December 18th, 2008
brandon c asked:

I’m getting into a nursing program so I don’t need to complete my bachelore’s.

I plan on finishing my degree eventually, but I’m wondering if in the future institutions will say that I need to do the (boring/useless) ge courses all over again.

I have more than 80 credits, being at a private college for 2 years, and then being at a city college for a year.

How can someone survive without a college degree these days?

Friday, December 5th, 2008
Di asked:

I’ve been jumping around from major to major, college to college, and cant find anything thats satisfies me.
I’ve been in school for nearly 3 years now, and I’m taking a break this next semester.

The problem is, I hate school and really dont want to go back. But I’m no fool. I know people need a full degree to get even the simplest jobs these days.

I need some form of assurance that people without a college degree can make something of themselves. That they can be successful and/or financially comfortable without a degree.

What can people do nowadays, in order to survive, as someone who did not complete college? What direction could they go in? What fields could/should they pursue? What can people do for themselves to be successful without going to school?

I just want some perspective here.

Jerome
