socialwork2010 asked: Apparently, everyone I was assigned to work with at University of Phoenix online approximately six months ago has quit. I am trying to get some help on my next set of classes and I cannot get anyone to return my phone call and when I get a live operator, they put me in some random voicemail. Does anyone know how to get ahold of a live academic counselor??

koopyco asked: I want to go back to school, but I work 30+ hours a week and I have my two toddlers at home, and I don’t want to be away from them more than I have to. I’ve been thinking about online schooling, but how much cred do they really get compared to an actual college degree from some university. And if they are pretty good, which online schools are the better ones to go with?

robust asked: Are online degrees recognised for employment purposes or is it better to be an on campus student?
I am currently employed but would like to widen my horizons and expand my opportunities by pursuing higher degrees. But I do not wish to give up my employment.
I wonder if online degrees are recognised and accepted and if so, is it only recognised in some places?

Shera M asked: I want to be a vet, and need to get a bachelor degree first. I thought about going to community college here for two years and then away for two years, but will a vet school really find community college impressive?
What scholarships can I get to pay for vet school. Do I have to get the Bachelors degree first? Some schools say it isn’t needed.

athleticboxer_college asked: There are many online degree programs offered on the internet. How can I check if the online degree is accepted by the job market. A school teacher with a master’s degree in education had to pay back her salary increase because the degree wasn’t accepted by the Dept of Ed.

shelly39280 asked: I’m thinking about becoming a nurse (RN), but was wondering what kind of education is needed? I have a Bachelor in Sociology. I’m not sure what area specifically I’d like to work in but somewhere along the lines of the ER or in the pediatrics department of the hospital. Does my Sociology degree give me a step up or do I have to start all over and get a BA in nursing?
