Will employers consider someone who at least got an online degree from an accredited school if not a big name school? I’m 27 and I live in southern california. I really want to become a special education teacher as that is my true calling. I absolutely love working with disabled children. I am really interested in going to university of phoenix due to the fact that I am already 27 and their program is faster than other universities. My only problem is that I have learning disabilities: dyscalculia (math learning disability), dyslexia (the reading comprehension type),and a processing disorder as well as hearing loss in the right ear. My question to people who have went there is this: Do they help you to succeed? Or are they the type of university that doesn’t help you at all no matter what?
