I just acquired my high school diploma and I am interested in attending University of Phoenix. When I however filled out the application on line it said that my class was not available for campus classes only online. My ex whom works in college admissions in Jacksonville, Florida advised me to take classes to receive my associates degree. Will this affect me becoming a teacher or will it benefit me? And is the any other college I could maybe consider?

But I didn’t follow my desire and went with the dreams of someone else. Now that I got older and grabbed a hold of myself. I believe the Hope tax credit is only for college freshmen and sophomores. And I am working on a second bachelors degree ( i earned my first bachelor’s degree 15 years ago).
Will i be eligible for a tax credit in my situation?

The University of Phoenix is on the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing Approved Professional Preparation Programs, and I wanted to hear from other UOP Alumns who went on to teach. What was your experience like? Did your school district second guess your College Degree from the University of Phoenix?

I’ve read all the UOP bashing, so please only reply if you can have gone to UOP to become a teacher.

Of course I would like to go to a regular classroom, but I just don’t have the flexibility to go to class, work full time, and take care of my wife and 2 year old girl. The University of Phoenx seems to be my best route at this point.
